What Remains Below
ORIGINAL WORK ~ MINERAL STUDIES
What Remains Below draws from the darker strata of stone—compressed layers, mineral staining, shadow, and the traces left by erosion.
Built through layered texture and restrained tonal shifts, the surface moves between deep earth, softened blue, and weathered mineral tones. Areas of abrasion and exposed texture interrupt the darker field, suggesting material that has been buried, worn back, and gradually revealed.
